Резкий рост клиентов из США: 10 вопросов к Ана Ибаньес Лари (Movingto)

10 On The Weekend is IMI’s weekly (sometimes a little more relaxed) column. The concept is simple: each time, we ask the same set of ten questions to different IMI Pro experts, so readers can get to know our guest better—more personally and informally than in typical business conversations.

In this edition, our guest is Ana Ibáñez Lari, COO and co-founder of Movingto.

How do you like to spend your weekends?

I love spending weekends with my family and our little kids—most often outdoors or at the beach. Weekends also give me the chance to pause, reflect, and think about strategy and long-term growth for our international relocation business.

What are your three main business goals this year?

To expand our global presence, increase the number of qualified inbound leads, and strengthen partnerships with reliable legal and investment providers across Europe and the Caribbean.

What’s currently your biggest concern in business?

We need to continuously adapt to regulatory changes across different jurisdictions while maintaining a high standard of service and strict compliance requirements.

What book is on your bedside table right now?

A mix of books on business strategy and personal development. Right now, I’m focusing on leadership and scaling international teams.

How and when did you first get into the investment migration industry?

I entered investment migration and relocation through personal experience—I helped families move to other countries. Over time, that evolved into building a global advisory platform grounded in proven recommendations and due diligence.

What moment makes you feel most proud as a service provider?

When we help families successfully secure residency and start a new life abroad—especially when the move involves children, as it does in our case.

What development in the investment migration market surprised you the most last year?

The sharp increase in interest from clients in the USA, who are actively looking for a “Plan B”—residency or a passport—as a way to reduce risk amid political and tax uncertainty, as well as changing lifestyles.

If you could go back ten years, what decision would you change?

I would have invested earlier and more consistently in content marketing, to build a sustainable stream of inbound requests rather than relying so heavily on referrals and short-term channels.

Which “industry” personality in investment migration do you admire most?

I’m drawn to leaders who help the industry become more professional—those who push for higher compliance standards, transparency, and long-term program sustainability.

If everything goes according to plan, what will you be doing in five years?

I’ll be leading our global relocation and investment migration platform—backed by strong regulatory-level partnerships and an enhanced client experience powered by technology.
