Stricter control when crossing the borders of the European Union: a new EU system is being introduced
The European Union is blurring borders, lifting restrictions on the movement of citizens of member states. Relatively recently, holders of passports, Schengen visas, and residence permits in Greece, Italy, and any other country have been able to freely travel, live, work, or study within the EU. On the other hand, the European Parliament plans to tighten security measures at the common border, more thoroughly screening citizens of third countries, which, according to this classification, includes Russia.
