The Philippines is preparing to launch a visa for remote specialists

The Philippines will soon have a new opportunity for remote workers — the digital nomad visa. It will allow you to stay in the country for up to one year with the possibility of extension, without violating immigration rules.

The program is designed for adults (over 18 years old) with a permanent income from abroad. They are also necessary:

▫️ Ban on employment in Filipino companies

The official start date for submitting applications has not yet been announced. It is also difficult to say whether this option will be more profitable than the standard extension of a tourist visa. Everything will become clear with time.
