Citizenship by Investment in Greece: record number of applicants in 2023

Despite the increased entry threshold for real estate buyers, interest in Greece's Golden Visa program among foreign investors is rapidly growing. The dire predictions made at the beginning of 2023 have not come to pass. The increase in the home purchase limit in 36 Greek municipalities to €500,000 has had no impact on the program's popularity. On the contrary, foreign investment amounts through the Golden Visa program are breaking all records.
