Greek Golden Visa: record successes in 2023 and new prospects in 2024

Since its launch in 2013, Greece's citizenship-by-investment program has been attracting an increasing number of foreign buyers. In the first half of 2023, interest in residential real estate grew by 152% compared to last year, breaking the previous record set in 2019. However, analysts believe the program has exhausted its potential. To regain investor interest, the government of sunny Greece plans to expand the investment opportunities to include gated apartments and houses.
