IMI Connect Buenos Aires 2026: the leading investment migration event in Argentina (November 2–4)
In November 2026, 125 leaders in the fields of residency and citizenship by investment, global taxation, and asset protection will meet behind closed doors in Buenos Aires. Over three intensive days, lawyers, entrepreneurs, accountants, and representatives of investment programs will be able to speak candidly and discuss market developments—something that simply isn’t possible in the usual conference format.
More than 50 seats are already booked: part of the audience includes former attendees, sponsors, IMI Official Partners, and early registrants. Additional places will open in the coming weeks.

Nine meetings — one professional community
IMI Connect began in Lisbon in 2022. The community then hosted events in Istanbul, Malta, Saigon, Cairo, Miami, Athens, Rome, and most recently Barcelona (June 2026).
In all nine cities, the events sold out before doors opened. The reason is clear.
From previous meetings, 95% of attendees say they leave with new business contacts and referral opportunities that can shape financial results for years. In addition, 94% recommend IMI Connect to colleagues, and more than a third of participants return for the next event.
Slava Apel, a long-time IMI Connect sponsor (CanadaRBI), echoes the same sentiment. As the speaker notes, “Our team has never missed an IMI event.”
Buenos Aires will be the 10th edition of IMI Connect—and the first time in the history of the format that the market gathers in South America.
Why Buenos Aires? Why now?
Latin America is among the most active regions for investment migration. Against the backdrop of traditional favorites in North America—Panama and Costa Rica—the Southern Cone is growing quickly as investors and HNWI increase their interest in regional jurisdictions.
Demand for a “plan B”—alternative residence pathways for affluent families—is rising noticeably. Buenos Aires sits at the heart of these flows: strong connections to North America and Europe, and a venue standard befitting one of the market’s most ambitious gatherings.
Another key factor is anticipation around the Argentina citizenship by investment program. In Buenos Aires, the people building, selling, and advising on this initiative will be in the same room.
David Lincoln (Lincoln Global Partners), who attended IMI Connect Barcelona and will come to Buenos Aires, called it a logical step: “IMI Connect is moving into LatAm—it really makes sense.”
Five reasons to attend
1. The attendee mix
The market’s key players bring in their best specialists. That’s why three days of discussions take place with the people who shape the direction of the industry. This isn’t a room of marketing departments—here you’ll find founders, executives, and top performers.
For example, Colin Maurer (Immigration Diligence), who visited IMI Connect for the first time in Barcelona, emphasized: “The level and diversity of people in the room is truly impressive.”
2. A practical “on the ground” perspective
This is your chance to meet a jurisdiction for the first time—or again, in a new way—before you start recommending it to clients. Many advisors discuss Argentine citizenship without having personal experience in the country. Three days in Buenos Aires can change your perspective and give you a competitive advantage.
3. A local team
You’ll meet Argentine lawyers, accountants, and government representatives who help support clients in practice. Contacts formed over dinner turn into real people you can call on when a client needs assistance in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.
4. High-impact referrals and partnerships
One of the main reasons IMI Connect consistently delivers results is that successful collaborations and durable referral chains are formed regularly.
After IMI Connect Barcelona (June 2026), Harsev Oshan from World Talents (IMI Official Partner) noted: “Winning in global mobility over the next decade won’t be just about capital. The winners will be the ecosystems, trust, and long-term collaboration.”
IMI Connect Buenos Aires is where that kind of collaboration can start for you.
5. Content and insights
Each event delivers so much knowledge and takeaways that the experience can feel almost overwhelming. Newcomers are often surprised by both the breadth and depth of expertise in the room.
There’s also an extra advantage: Buenos Aires is a city with a distinctive visual identity. And the four selected IMI private venues give attendees an unusual backdrop for materials they later use in their personal and corporate channels—from interviews to media publications.

Three special days and four memorable private venues
IMI Connect Buenos Aires will run November 2–4 and include four legendary private locations across the city—each moment designed to encourage natural, active conversation.
The first day begins in the evening of Monday, November 2: a welcome cocktail at Hipódromo Palermo, one of Buenos Aires’ best-known venues, famous for live horse racing. The market arrives—and the tone of the event is set.
The second day is the key one. A full day of closed-door discussions plus lunch at La Rural Central Salón focused on trends and “winds that face you,” shaping the market. In the evening, attendees move to Palacio Paz, a historic Buenos Aires palace. Dinner will be followed by the legendary IMI Connect quiz—where reputations are reinforced and friendly rivalries are renewed.
The third day ends with a brunch by the waterfront at Yacht Club Puerto Madero, followed by the final discussion and an optional daytime excursion. This is often where the last agreements are finalized, meetings are scheduled, and plans are locked in.
As Daisy Joseph Andall (Joseph Rowe Law, IMI Official Partner) puts it: “IMI Connect slows time. An atmosphere is created so you can really listen. The scoring stays behind the doors.”
A room without unnecessary noise
IMI Connect has its own unique format. It isn’t a typical B2B conference, and it’s not a standard “networking event.”
IMI Connect is more of a community and social gathering: an informal way to connect with the market, build trusted relationships, and create value over the next decade.
From the very beginning in 2022, IMI has banned exhibition booths, strict dress codes, and formal keynote-style presentations—along with any sales pitches from the stage: no one buys their place in the program. As frequent attendee James Muscat Azzopardi (Muscat Azzopardi and Associates) says plainly: “The absence of those kinds of ‘pitches’ is one of the defining features of IMI Connect compared to other industry events.”
Organizers also keep media and government representatives out of the room, so conversations remain as candid as possible.
If you’re coming to “sell from the stage” or send a junior team member to collect contacts, this event isn’t for you. But if you lead a company and want three days of genuine conversation with peers, competitors, and partners, then you already understand: this is an opportunity.
Tickets and pricing
Right now, the Early Bird rate is available at €2,499. After the early purchase window closes, only Late Bird will remain—€3,249. Pricing increases at each stage based on previous event cycles, so booking early secures the lowest rate.
If you’re an IMI Pro or your company is an IMI Official Partner and you want additional tickets beyond those included with membership, there’s a special community rate of €2,249. If you’re not a member yet, follow the links to become one and unlock this and other benefits.
Tickets are non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash, but they are fully transferable to another senior representative from your company with IMI approval. The room capacity is 125 people, and the format won’t be expanded.
With more than 50 seats already taken, Buenos Aires is following the trajectory of prior events. As IMI Pro Jeremy Savory (Savory and Partners) said on LinkedIn: “I strongly recommend that anyone who hasn’t attended IMI Connect yet come to the next edition in Buenos Aires this November.”

Partnership with IMI in Buenos Aires
A small number of sponsors reinforces the key moments of IMI Connect—from the day-one cocktail to the third-day excursion. Sponsors get access to all confirmed attendees, free tickets for their team, branding across venues, and reach and added value in IMI’s digital channels through IMI Daily posts and on-site materials.
Past partners have included leading investment migration companies: CanadaRBI, Arton Capital, Mercan Group, Grupo Los Pueblos, Prime Developments, Immigrant Invest, Latitude, Get Golden Visa, Range Developments, Optylon Krea, Globevisa, HIF, PASS for Wealth Management, and Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates.
Horacio Mendoza from Grupo Los Pueblos (IMI Official Partner and IMI Connect sponsor) attended IMI Connect for the first time in Barcelona and shared his impressions: “The most valuable part was finally meeting in person people I previously only knew through calls, emails, and LinkedIn. A handshake adds a completely different dimension to the conversation.”
