Цена промедления выше: 10 вопросов на выходных с Василисом Папангелодиму

“10 On The Weekend” is IMI’s weekly (and slightly more relaxed) column. The format is built on a simple idea: each episode features exactly ten identical questions posed to different IMI Pro experts, so the audience can get to know the guest much more personally. Unlike a typical corporate interview, the conversation is warmer, more informal, and easier to connect with.

In the new episode, our guest is Vasilis Papangelodimou, Managing Director at Azzuro Nova Limited.

How do you usually spend your weekends?

Most often, I try to dedicate my weekends to family and close friends—it's the best way to recharge.

What are your three main business goals this year?

If we’re talking about priorities for the current year, they are:

  • Accelerate growth on a global scale;
  • Support new clients with their move to Greece and move to Cyprus;
  • Build new working relationships with professionals who are interested in Greece and Cyprus as destinations.

What worries you most about the business right now?

What concerns me the most is a complex and fairly sensitive situation involving the U.S./Israel and Iran.

What book are you reading at the moment?

On my nightstand right now is Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara.

How and when did you first get into investment migration?

I entered this field about ten years ago. I was already well-versed in the topic—I previously worked within an immigration department.

What moment do you consider the most proud in your service-provider role?

For me, it’s especially valuable that I organized a barbecue for clients. Over time, people started to see me not just as a service provider, but as a friend.

What surprised you most about the investment migration market over the past year?

What really struck me was how fast AI-driven automation is reshaping entire industries. The shift from pilot experiments to large-scale adoption happened much faster than expected.

If you could go back ten years, what decision would you revisit?

If I could rewind a decade, I would move faster—leaning more on opportunities and waiting less for the “perfect moment.”

The cost of waiting is far greater than the price of a sensible, well-calculated risk.

Whose perspective in the investment migration industry do you respect the most?

I particularly value professionals who combine real expertise with genuine values and a truly client-first mindset.

I also want to highlight those who put transparency, ethical practice, and long-term impact for both people and partners at the center of what they do.

If everything goes according to plan, what will you be doing in five years?

If things develop as intended, in five years I see myself in a leadership role overseeing larger, more strategic projects: expanding my expertise and participating at a level where you can influence decisions that truly matter.

For me, it’s important to be where my actions lead to clear, measurable outcomes—and where I continue to grow, both professionally and personally.
